They want you to bring money to their site. No verification will be asked. The will take money from you for depositing the money, posting a project, accepting a project... without any verification. But when you will submit withdrawal request for the deposited money or earned money, soon your account will be suspended.

That's hilarious! Freelancer has set even an expiry date for the deposited fund. A former user of the site claims that his deposited money was simply got vanished without leaving any clue! What it seems is that freelancer.com has  some sort of approved robbing license. From the complain submitted to complaintboard, short form of the incident can be read. The user states that he deposited $200 to complete a project. But later the project was not continued and he kept his money there to use it when needed later.
